Martina Lindorfer

General Information

I am currently a PhD student at the Secure Systems Lab in Vienna, where I also conducted my masters's thesis. In June 2011, I received a master's degree in Software Engineering and Internet Computing from the Vienna University of Technology. Before that I received a bachelor's degree in Computer- and Media Security at the University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg.

Research Interests

My main research interest is dynamic malware analysis. For my master's thesis I focused on detecting "environment-sensitive" malware, i.e. malware that is capable of detecting and evading analysis. I implemented a verification system for Anubis that screens malware samples for evasive behavior.
