Michael Weissbacher

General Information

I am a graduate student at the Technical University Vienna where I am enrolled for the Software Engineering/Internet Computing and Computational Intelligence Masters programs.

Currently I am visiting the University of California, Santa Barbara seclab as Research Assistant to work on a project which will contribute to my masters thesis. The focus of the project is dynamic detection of JavaScript vulnerabilities and providing countermeassure. My stay was supported by a Marshall Plan Foundation scholarship.

I hold a Bachelors degree in Software & Information Engineering from TU Vienna, as part of my BS thesis I was able to contribute to the Anubis project.

Research Interests

My research interests include detection of web vulnerabilities and malware.
