Patrick KlinkoffGeneral Information Until December 2005, I was a mathematics student at the Vienna University of Technology. I wrote my master's thesis at the Distributed Systems and Automation Groups. My main research interest was static and dynamic analysis methods. After completing my studies, I joined the Vienna office of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in January 2006 as a consultant in the Corporate Development Competence Center. Projects In the course of my master's thesis, I developed a dynamic analysis approach to securing native library calls from .NET. To achieve this, I placed a security layer between the native library and the Windows API. Further, I installed system call hooks to prevent an attacker from circumventing the security layer. Further details can be found in my master's thesis.
